Fuel Injected Motocross Bikes
Nowadays, fuel injected Motocross bikes deems typical among motorists. The change in its engine is quite swift, setting the trend for the street bike scene. Yes, fuel injected bikes are the next big thing.
Bikers can expect to see most motocross bikes switch from carburetion to fuel injection starting next year and will continue on advancements in the next couple of years. It will be an interesting take on fuel injected bikes swarming across the globe and how it affects motocross bike maintenance. The deadline for the target dates to fuel inject all scooters is now at hand.
These fuel injection systems are inexorably more complex to operate than carburetors. Changing the air and fuel ratio could be much simpler (and easier!) albeit it’s much more costly than one would realize versus swapping carburetor jets. In re-flashing an ECU that controls the fuel injection system, as is now done on many street bikes or using a piggyback system like the power commander, will become the means of "re-jetting" your motorcycle. Fuel injection systems on motocross bikes will have to be far sturdier than those found on street bikes given the nature of motocross itself. Save for speeding off the tracks anyway.
One of the more popular and best-selling motocross bikes in the United States alone is the Honda CRF450R which will likely to be fuel injected next year alongside Japanese motocross bikes which are fuel injected in production form within the next three years, according to sources. Honda bigwigs plan to make their bikes under the Honda umbrella to be fuel injected by 2010.
